Since the Patriots / Giants game is such a big game I wanted to post as much information as possible on the game.

My selection is UNDER 46.5

The information posted below is just some solid information I have found on the game and does not reflect how I feel but the goal is to share as much information as possible.

New England at NY GiantsWhile both teams are locked into their respective playoff spots, the Patriots still have plenty to play for both on the individual front for Tom Brady (single-season TD passing record) and Randy Moss (single-season TD receiving record), and the team front (perfect season). The Giants are not likely to play much of the game at full strength. But even with all their starters in the lineup, they are the only team to make the playoffs with a losing record at home (3-4). New England should have just enough to cover (-14 1/2) in this one according to Dunkel, which has the Patriots favored by 15 1/2. Dunkel Pick: New England (-14 1/2). Here are all of this week's picks.SATURDAY, DECEMBER 29Game 411-412: New England at NY GiantsDunkel Ratings: New England 148.567; NY Giants 133.003Dunkel Line: New England by 15 1/2; 42Vegas Line: New England by 14 1/2; 44 1/2Dunkel Pick: New England (-14 1/2); Under

NFL WRITE-UP

Week 17Week 17 NFL scoreboardVery strange week looms ahead, as most of the playoff spots are already sewn up, so motivation and who-plays-how much is the big question of the week. More than most weeks, keeping your ears to the TV for late news Saturday night/Sunday will be very helpful in your handicapping efforts.Saturday, December 29Patriots (15-0) @ Giants (10-5) -- New York has playoff game next week, so they're more likely to sit any nicked-up starters than the Patriots, who have next week off. NE covered just one of last five games, winning by 3-3-21-10-21 points- they're 5-2 as road faves with five wins by 21+ pts. Pats allowed two offensive TDs in last 31 drives by opponents. Giants are 3-2 vs spread as an underdog this season- their losses are by 10-22-11-24-12 pts. Does anyone think Giants would beat New England, even if they did go all out? Over is 5-2 in New England road games this season.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---

Tips and Trends

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---New England Patriots at New York Giants(NFL/CBS/NBC 8:15 PM ET)There are no playoff implications in this game yet it's obviously one of the biggest regular-season finales in the history of the NFL as the Patriots look to complete the 1st unbeaten 16-0 season. "We know we have an opportunity to get to 16," New England QB Tom Brady said. "That would be a great accomplishment for this team." Brady also needs just 2 touchdown passes to break Indy QB Peyton Manning's single-season record, and WR Randy Moss needs 2 TD catches to replace Jerry Rice as the single-season record holder. BIG EDGE: PATRIOTSOf New England's last 6 wins, 4 have been decided by 10 points or less. New York also knocked off a previously unbeaten 13-0 Denver team at the Meadowlands back on December 13th, 1998. "Of course you play every game to win, and so all of our thoughts are on that," Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said. "All of our thoughts are on trying to figure out how we can be in a position to defeat a team that is 15-0 and a very, very good team." SLIGHT EDGE: GIANTSThe Giants are just 3-4 at home this season and has not won at the Meadowlands since beating San Francisco there on October 21st. They have lost their last 3 at home and are also expected to rest key starters, including RB Brandon Jacobs, who has a nagging ankle injury and rushed for a season-high 145 yards last week at Buffalo.EDGE: PATRIOTSGiants are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 home games.Patriots are 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 Saturday games.Patriots are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Week 17 games. The UNDER is 8-0-1 in New England's last 9 Saturday games.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---NFL game day buzz: Week 17 betting notes--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---
